I would also say epibolus pulchripes, but I am no expert!
[Blockierte Grafik: http://diplopoda.de/html/species/e_pulchripes/epulchripes09.jpg]
The Epibolus pulchripes I have has much brighter red legs than these, so I thought they may have been a different species?
the only thing I can contribute is... I don't think they look like e. pulchripes at all. they look similar to Alloporus stylifer ('specially their heads - this is where I see the difference to e. pulchripes), but they don't look like the Alloporus stylifer on the pics of diplopoda.de...
it's not only the color but also the... umm.... "analklappen" (somebody help me here - is it "anal lids" or something in English...?).
this is just another guess, but I'd say it's a species not listed.
any hints from where you got them?
Im not sure where they were collected, I bought them from someone who I assume imported them? (along with a lot of other millipedes) from West Africa?
Hi, Kev
I agree to amadeo with the species Alloporus stylifer.
Definitely no e.pulchripes.
Nice creatures at all
Greez,
Shura and the whole bunch
Thanks for id'ing them for me
I have another species that im unsure about, I'll post them in another thread.
