Coromus vittatus - info

Hey!
I bought two specimens few days ago. Without any reasons one died...
Any advices about this specie? I've heart it's a hard one.

Best regards
Greg

RE: Coromus vittatus - info

Hi,
By now I think this species is less harder to keep.
The one that died could be of false keeping or other factors before you bought them.
They seem to live quite long as adults and feeding well on rotten wood/leaves, moss and some vegetables. I keep them at hight humidity and moist to wet substrate (sand, loamy soil and potting soil). I found in the tank a lot of juvenils, but there are several other oxydesmid and Coromus species, so can't tell you if they are from C. vittatus.
